Creative Writing Competition and Free Creative Writing Workshop
ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø are excited to launch of our very first Creative Writing Competition and we warmly invite young writers aged 5-13 to get involved!
Whether your child is already a passionate storyteller or just beginning their writing journey, this is a wonderful opportunity to develop their imagination, sharpen their writing skills, and gain creative confidence.
Free Online Creative Writing Workshop – Sunday 14th September
The workshop is designed to equip children with the tools they need to start writing their own story for our Creative Writing Competition. Through guided activities, we will help them:
- Develop memorable characters
- Describe settings effectively
- Structure a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end
- Build tension and excitement in their writing
The workshops will be led by Steph, one of Keystone’s most experienced creative writing tutors. A former primary school teacher with over 5,200 hours of teaching at Keystone, Steph specialises in 7+, 8+, and 11+ preparation and has worked extensively with pupils in Years 1–8 — making her the ideal guide for young writers.
Workshop timings:
- 10:00–10:30²¹³¾: For children in Years 1–3
- 10:30–11:15²¹³¾: For children in Years 4–8
Can’t make it live? No problem — the session will be recorded and shared with all who register.
