I am a French (Native speaker) qualified secondary school teacher with a Master’s in Teaching French as a Foreign Language and extensive international experience. I studied and taught in France until completing my Master’s, including teaching placements in French schools, and I have also completed teaching internships in the Philippines and Italy. I then completed a PGCE at UCL, including placements in London schools. Professionally, I taught French and Spanish in a secondary schools in London for more than three years up to GCSE (French with Edexcel and AQA for Spanish). I had a brief gap in January 2025 between contracts, which I used for professional development and preparation for my next role. I then taught French full-time in a mixed preparatory school, Trevor-Roberts, from February to August 2025, taking full responsibility for my classes and preparing students for GCSE and Common Entrance exams and the St Paul' scholarship. Since September 2025, I have been teaching Spanish at Northwold Primary School and French at Lyonsdown School. My lessons are interactive, student-centered, and tailored to help learners from primary to A-Level achieve their language goals, and I have experience supporting students with EAL and SEND.

My teaching approach is based on combining linguistic precision with cultural immersion. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, ensuring that grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context and reinforced through authentic resources such as articles, videos, songs, and literature. I create lessons that are interactive and include as many real-life situations as possible, helping students use the language naturally and confidently. I encourage reflection and independence, guiding learners to understand how a language works and why it is used in certain ways. Whether working with primary pupils, GCSE and A-Level students, or adult learners, I adapt my methods to each individual’s goals and learning style, creating a supportive yet challenging environment that builds both skill and confidence.

I currently teach Spanish at Northwold Primary School on Mondays (from Year 3 to Year 6) and French at Lyonsdown School on Wednesdays and Thursdays (from pre-nursery to Year 6). I am seeking to complement this timetable with tutoring from primary to A-Level, which aligns with my long-term goal of supporting students individually to reach their full potential.

Outside teaching, I pursue dance disciplines including Kathak, Flamenco, and Ballet, which cultivate patience, discipline, and perseverance. I also continue my language studies, learning Tagalog and maintaining proficiency in Hindi and Korean. My ambition is to become a versatile language teacher, capable of teaching from early years to university level, whether in schools or through one-to-one and small-group tutoring, providing tailored support that maximizes students’ success.
